Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department contract requiring a WA or compact license and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a hospital Emergency Department setting
  • Night shift hours are 18:30-07:00, with 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts
  • Care for a diverse emergency patient population
  • Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not mandatory
  • All requested time off must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract
  • Full availability for scheduled shifts is required
  • Position located near Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest
  • Local candidates are accepted, as there is no listed radius rule
  • No COVID-19 vaccination requirement is specified for this position

Requirements

  • Active WA or Compact RN license
  • Minimum of 3 years Emergency Department nursing experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Completion of an approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
  • Verification of demographics via Nursys is required
  • Must be a team player with strong Emergency Department clinical knowledge
