Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient rehab position focused on orthopedic and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting with a focus on orthopedic cases and patients aged 10 through geriatric
• Typical diagnoses include orthopedic conditions, neurological, sports medicine, and occasional inpatient post-op care such as s/p TKA, THA, or abdominal surgery
• Work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating required within the facility
• Epic is used for charting and documentation
• Main responsibilities include providing outpatient physical therapy to a variety of patient populations in an orthopedic-focused setting
• Occasional care of inpatients with post-surgical or weakness-related diagnoses may be required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Requests for time off must be submitted up front and participation in holiday and weekend rotation may be required
• 70-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within this distance are not eligible
• Caribbean Blue scrubs are required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Current WI state PT license required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and sports medicine preferred
• Two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years are required
