Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN with chemo certification and at least 2 years of specialty experience for an 8-hour day shift contract assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in an oncology infusion setting within a hospital-affiliated cancer care center
Patient population consists of oncology patients requiring chemotherapy infusions
Eight-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm
No on-call requirements
Responsible for administering chemotherapy infusions to oncology patients
Time off (RTO) must be requested up front and cannot be added after offer
Not accepting local candidates within a 50-mile radius
Perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break from permanent employment
Professional attire as appropriate for an outpatient cancer infusion setting

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license
Minimum of 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience
AHA BLS certification required
Chemo certification and experience administering chemotherapy required
