Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN with chemo certification and at least 2 years of specialty experience for an 8-hour day shift contract assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in an oncology infusion setting within a hospital-affiliated cancer care center
- Patient population consists of oncology patients requiring chemotherapy infusions
- Eight-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm
- No on-call requirements
- Responsible for administering chemotherapy infusions to oncology patients
- Time off (RTO) must be requested up front and cannot be added after offer
- Not accepting local candidates within a 50-mile radius
- Perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break from permanent employment
- Professional attire as appropriate for an outpatient cancer infusion setting
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- AHA BLS certification required
- Chemo certification and experience administering chemotherapy required
