Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Radiation Oncology Ambulatory Unit with recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and NH or compact state licensure.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Radiation Oncology Unit within an ambulatory department setting
- Care for both inpatient and outpatient populations receiving radiation treatment
- Typical shift is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week
- No local candidates permitted; must reside outside a 75-mile radius
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, assisting with treatments and procedures, patient education, and follow-up
- Role involves coordination with a multidisciplinary team in an ambulatory oncology environment
Requirements
- Active RN license in NH or a compact state, maintained throughout assignment
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Recent experience within the past 2 years at a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma facility required
