Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with at least one year of experience and proficiency in Epic for an 8-week night shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg short-stay unit setting
• Night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am, three shifts per week
• 8-week contract term
• EMR: Epic experience required
• Position is open to local travelers
• Provide clinical nursing care and patient assessment for a diverse Med/Surg population
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for care planning and evaluation
• Perform bedside point of care testing as needed
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities
• Attendance at mandatory education programs based on identified learning needs
• Free parking available onsite

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience required
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing Diploma program, ADN, or ASN required
• Experience documenting in Epic EMR required
