Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience, ARDMS and BLS certification, and strong skills with GE equipment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a community hospital environment
• Covers a broad patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Day shift schedule with five 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call is required every third week and weekend coverage is required every third weekend
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment for cardiac procedures
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Candidates living within 75 miles are considered local
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Orientation sessions occur bi-weekly

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist or Cardiac Sonographer in a community hospital setting
• Current ARDMS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment
• One supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration
• Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• License required if applicable
