Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring travel experience and an active OH or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5
• Requires willingness to float to other Med/Surg Tele units at different campuses if census drops
• Every other weekend shifts are required
• On-call duty may be required with a one-hour response time
• Returning employees must wait at least 6 months after leaving to be eligible for consideration
• Time off requests must be submitted in advance
• Must provide a copy of Driver’s License and Social Security Number for consideration

Requirements

• Active RN license for Ohio or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years recent and consecutive Med/Surg Tele experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Previous travel RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with medication scanning technology
