Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit night shift position requiring a VA or compact RN license and recent telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Telemetry unit (2 South B)
• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide monitoring and care for patients requiring telemetry
• Night shift position with rotation according to department scheduling needs
• Holiday coverage and weekend shifts may be required based on unit demands
• Candidates must present all required credentials and references prior to onboarding

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent specialty experience in telemetry
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certification required without upcoming expiration within 30 days of start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide US Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
• Professional reference required (2 for Florida/Missouri, 1 for other states)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
