Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of specialty experience and a current ARRT (R) certification for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an imaging department within a 70-bed hospital setting
  • 12-hour day shifts typically beginning at 7:00 AM
  • Schedule includes weekdays and may include weekends with 12-hour shifts
  • EMR system used is Cerner
  • Flu vaccination is required for all candidates starting on or after 9/30/2024, with only medical exemptions considered
  • Candidates must not have previously worked in a permanent capacity at any Northern Light Health Hospital
  • Permanent address must be 100+ miles South or Southwest of EMMC for consideration
  • References must include at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge nurse
  • Copies of all certifications and a driver's license must be provided for consideration
  • First-time travelers and acceptance of 1-year experience are discussed during the interview

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist in the specialty
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Maine state license or compact license required
  • BLS preferred but not required
  • License required if applicable
