Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a seasonal night shift Medical Oncology position requiring a MO or compact license and chemo certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a hospital medical oncology unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide nursing care to oncology patients during overnight hours
• Responsible for administration of chemotherapy and monitoring patient responses
• Participation in a supportive multidisciplinary team
• Holiday coverage may be required depending on hospital needs

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent oncology or medical-surgical RN experience
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Chemo certification required for all oncology RNs
• Two professional references required for Missouri
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must provide US Social Security Number and DOB for consideration
• Candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
