Job Description
American Traveler seeks an experienced Physical Therapist for a Home Health outpatient assignment with BLS and prior home health experience required.
Responsibilities
- Home Health outpatient assignment covering Cherokee, Spartanburg, Union, and a small part of Greenville counties
- Day shift schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, working 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 to 18:30
- Minimum of 7.5 units per shift required
- No on-call required for this role
- Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs; mileage is paid
- EPIC EMR experience preferred but not required
- Mandatory attendance policy applies, with contracts subject to review if more than two shifts are missed without reasonable explanation
- All requested time off (RTO) must be included at initial consideration
- Pass/fail Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test required during orientation
- Testing will occur on the first day of orientation and only one attempt is allowed
- Local candidates not accepted; must live more than 75 miles from the facility
- Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- At least 1 year of recent home health PT experience required; 2 years preferred
- Must obtain appropriate state license prior to starting if submitting with a pending license
