Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shifts requiring travel experience, a TN or compact RN license, and comfort working with the prison population.

Responsibilities

• Position based in the ICU department
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 pm to 7:00 am)
• First week of orientation is scheduled for day shift (7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 3x12s)
• Patient population includes incarcerated individuals
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Must provide care to a population that includes prison inmates
• Requires submission of two professional references for consideration
• Must provide copies of a valid driver’s license and Social Security card during onboarding
• First week orientation will be during daytime hours

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI certification required (or MAB accepted in lieu of CPI)
