Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and a BLS certification for an adult to geriatric patient population.

Responsibilities

Work in an interventional radiology unit with an average daily census of 8 patients
Adult and geriatric patient population
Use of Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems
5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required
Call coverage required 10 days per month
Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
Scrubs provided by the facility
Main responsibilities include performing interventional radiology procedures and providing care to adult and geriatric patients
Expected to work major holidays according to assignment period; see holiday requirements
Maximum of 7 days RTO, with no RTO allowed during the first week
Full compliance with onboarding required before start; non-compliance may delay orientation by 2 weeks
Must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year to return as a traveler
Return travelers unable to go back to one facility must complete a successful assignment elsewhere before returning to a new Piedmont location
Travel pairs are not permitted to be assigned the same shift on the same unit
No blocked scheduling is allowed
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent interventional radiology technologist experience
Current BLS certification required
Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems preferred
Two supervisory references required for consideration
License required if applicable
Must be able to work with adult and geriatric patients
First-time travelers are accepted
