Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN to join a Level I trauma surgical team on night shifts in Texas, requiring OR trauma experience and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position based in the Operating Room of a hospital Level I Trauma Center
• Role involves general, trauma, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular surgery cases
• Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• On-call duties are required
• Responsibilities include circulating for a broad range of surgical procedures in a high acuity environment
• First-time travelers will be considered if they have Level I facility experience

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required at time of application
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years Operating Room RN experience required
• Experience in Level I OR Trauma centers required
• Experience with general, trauma, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular surgeries necessary
• Pending state licenses are not accepted
