Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 1+ years of recent experience across multiple care settings and proficiency in EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting across departments such as adult acute care, outpatient, ER, ICU, pediatric acute care, pediatric outpatient, and PICU
• Perform bedside and portable radiology procedures on a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with possible weekend coverage
• Utilize radiology equipment from GE and Siemens and a PACS system
• Medication management via Omnicell
• Must be prepared to float to other qualified units as needed, in accordance with facility policy
• Duties include performing diagnostic x-ray exams, upholding infection prevention and radiation safety protocols, and ensuring isolation precautions
• Patient age groups range from neonates to geriatrics
• First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment
• Scrub color requirement is hunter green
• Travelers must live more than 100 miles from any facility within the health system to qualify for travel eligibility

Requirements

• Current ARRT R, BLS, and South Carolina license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent radiology technologist experience in relevant care settings
• At least 1 year of documented EPIC EMR experience required
• Experience performing a wide range of radiologic procedures including trauma and portable exams
• Proficiency with specialized procedures such as abdominal, chest, extremity, spine, and joint imaging
• Must have references available and provide a copy of Driver's License for consideration
