Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring competency in circulating duties and key OR procedures.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operating Room of a hospital with 8 rooms
Care encompasses General, GYN, ENT, and Urology cases
Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1
Utilizes Meditech EMR, Stryker Video Equipment, Bovie, and Gyrus
Shifts are four 10-hour days or five 7.5-hour days, day shift
No on-call responsibilities
Main responsibilities include circulating, patient positioning, prepping, and intraoperative nursing care
Hospital provides orientation checklist and competency review completed by peers
Hospital scrubs are required
Local candidates within 80 miles are considered at adjusted rates

Requirements

Active IN or compact RN license required
Competency in operating room nursing, including circulating, positioning, and prepping patients
Experience with General, GYN, ENT, and Urology cases required
