Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for night shifts with a VT or compact license and advanced life support certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Emergency Room (ER) of an acute care hospital setting
- Night shifts are 12 hours, scheduled from 7p-7a
- Assignment duration is 8 weeks
- Care involves emergency and acute care patient populations
- Uses Cerner EMR in the unit
- Tobacco-free campus with no smoking or tobacco use permitted on hospital premises
- Team support from medical staff, allied health professionals, and advanced diagnostic/ancillary services
- Night shifts include every other weekend coverage
- Dress code and scrub requirements to be confirmed upon assignment
Requirements
- Active VT or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
- Current certifications in BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS required
- TNCC certification required; CCRN, CEN, and ENPC are preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred
