Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology Lab position requiring a GA or compact RN license and a strong background in IR procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Interventional Radiology Lab in a hospital setting
- Day shift, 10-hour AM shifts
- Typical patient caseload includes advanced cardiac and vascular procedures
- No on-call responsibilities
- Perform and assist in a variety of IR procedures for cardiac and vascular patients
- Candidates who previously worked at this health system must have a one-year separation from permanent staff and 18 months separation if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests for non-holiday periods are limited to 5 days; requests during holidays are limited to 3 days and only 1 holiday request is allowed
- Multiple consecutive RTO days during the holidays are not permitted
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 18 months of recent full-time experience in interventional radiology or a related CVOR setting
- Strong endovascular, cardiac, and vascular procedural experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from facility; local candidates are not eligible
