Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position with evening shifts and required recent Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Long Term Care unit within a skilled nursing facility
• Primary patient population includes residents requiring dementia capable care
• Shift is 8-hour evenings from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• Schedule requires a minimum of every other weekend and may be adjusted to meet unit needs
• Floating to other units as required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle is required due to lack of public transportation
• All-season or snow tires are strongly recommended from November through April
• No block scheduling permitted for any reason
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• A detailed work history including bed count and facility type is required for consideration
• RTO requests must be clearly specified during application

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Dementia capable care certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years required
• Must pass a 7-year nationwide background check including FACIS3, VCIC, and sex offender registry
• Must not be allergic to cats, as there is a cat on the unit
