Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in California requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU/CPU unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x8 hour shifts from 7:00 to 15:30
• Required to work every other weekend and as needed by the unit
• On call as needed
• May float within scope of practice to other units or campuses, with shuttle provided if necessary
• 50 mile radius rule applies for candidate eligibility
• Primary responsibility is providing intensive care to critical patients
• Proactive teamwork and flexibility to meet fluctuating patient needs are expected
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved
• After signing, candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of ICU RN experience required
• At least 6 months of travel nursing experience required
• Must be flexible to float within hospital and to other campuses as needed
• Returning employees must have been gone for at least 1 year
