Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in California requiring a CA RN license and advanced life support certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit at a hospital
Care for patients of all age and developmental stages
Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
Manages care for assigned patients and directs activities of ancillary staff
May perform charge nurse functions as needed
May only be approved for RTO that includes one holiday
Returning travelers must have a 1-year gap before reapplying
Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing ACA

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum of 2 years of experience required unless otherwise noted
Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility
