Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification for a mid-shift position in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting with a focus on diagnostic imaging
• Perform diagnostic radiographic, portable, C-arm, and fluoroscopic procedures
• Schedule consists of 5x8 hour mid-shifts per week with every 3rd weekend rotation
• Covers procedures in areas such as operating room, emergency room, and patient bedside
• Utilizes radiology information systems including EMR and PACS
• Responsible for patient positioning, equipment selection, and safety during procedures
• Follow ALARA and radiation protection protocols
• Provide patient education and support during imaging exams
• Document all aspects of procedures, including medication reconciliation and quality control
• Instruct and mentor new technologists and students as needed
• Adjust and coordinate patient and staff schedules when necessary
• Scrub color policy not specified

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of 2 years Radiologic Technologist experience required
• ARRT Radiography registration required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Current BLS (or to be obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Expert level knowledge of imaging equipment, PACS, and EMR
