Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification for a mid-shift position in Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital setting with a focus on diagnostic imaging
- Perform diagnostic radiographic, portable, C-arm, and fluoroscopic procedures
- Schedule consists of 5x8 hour mid-shifts per week with every 3rd weekend rotation
- Covers procedures in areas such as operating room, emergency room, and patient bedside
- Utilizes radiology information systems including EMR and PACS
- Responsible for patient positioning, equipment selection, and safety during procedures
- Follow ALARA and radiation protection protocols
- Provide patient education and support during imaging exams
- Document all aspects of procedures, including medication reconciliation and quality control
- Instruct and mentor new technologists and students as needed
- Adjust and coordinate patient and staff schedules when necessary

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 2 years Radiologic Technologist experience required
- ARRT Radiography registration required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Current BLS (or to be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- Expert level knowledge of imaging equipment, PACS, and EMR
