Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with an active IL RN license and multiple advanced certifications for mid and night shift coverage.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
Patient population includes emergency and trauma cases
Mid-shift and night-shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotations
Collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare team is required
Duties include medication administration, care planning, documentation, and patient/family education
Expected to participate in unit performance improvement and shared governance activities
Role requires strong critical thinking and ability to escalate patient safety concerns appropriately
Team-oriented work environment with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of ER RN experience required
Certifications needed: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
Demonstrated skills in emergency nursing and patient assessment
