Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute inpatient experience for a variable schedule position in a hospital setting requiring a Hawaii license by start date.

Details

Work in an acute inpatient rehab setting with secondary coverage in ICF/SNF rehab
Patient population consists of adult inpatients requiring physical therapy assessment and treatment
Variable shifts including Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, or Sun-Thurs, all from 8:30am-5:00pm
Weekend and holiday shifts may be required based on hospital operations
Uses Meditech as the electronic medical record system

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months recent experience in acute care, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility with adult patients
Current BLS certification required
Active Hawaii PT license required by assignment start date
Must apply for a Hawaii PT license upon acceptance if not already licensed
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Duties include evaluation, re-evaluation, and implementation of individualized therapeutic physical therapy plans as prescribed by attending physicians or consulting specialists
Physical therapist will also provide consulting services as needed
All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours before the assignment starts for required onboarding
It is recommended to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday prior to a Monday start date to complete employee health procedures
Team structure and supervision details are not specified
