Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Night Shift Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with ARRT (R) certification and NJ license for diagnostic, OR, and C-arm imaging.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital x-ray department covering diagnostic X-ray, OR, and portable imaging procedures
• Night shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts, 21:00 to 7:30
• Handles diagnostic X-ray studies with C-arm required and O-arm preferred
• Experience with Philips, Siemens, and GE imaging equipment
• Utilizes Epic charting for documentation
• Black scrubs required
• Responsible for performing X-ray exams in diagnostic, OR, and portable settings as needed
• Must be able to make up missed shifts in the same week; more than 3 call outs may extend contract
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Returning employees must have been away from the health system for at least 1 year before eligibility
• Block and special scheduling requests require pre-approval
• Background or license issues are not accepted
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be confirmed prior to booking

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year X-ray technologist experience
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Active NJ radiologic technologist license required
• Experience with diagnostic X-ray, OR, and C-arm procedures is required
• Experience with Philips, Siemens, and GE imaging systems is necessary
• Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
• License required if applicable
