Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years' experience and current NH state license for a dynamic cardiac setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab with a single procedure room
• Average daily caseload is 4 cases
• Day shifts, 8 hours, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call required as part of the schedule
• No floating or weekend shifts required
• Patient population includes elective and emergent PCI, pacemaker and ICD implants, and STEMI cases
• Experienced in using Epic EMR is required
• Daily responsibilities include assisting in elective and emergent PCI procedures, device implants, IABP and Impella cases
• Preferred skills include ablations, pacemaker/defib placement, hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac mapping, conduction studies, and electrophysiological evaluations
• Both RCIS and RRT backgrounds are accepted
• No orientation to the unit may be provided depending on experience
• Dress code is flexible; any scrubs may be worn
• Travelers who have previously worked at any SolutionHealth facility are not eligible
• First-time travelers considered based on experience

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' recent Cath Lab experience
• Current NH state license required if applicable
• Certification required: ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (AHA or Red Cross certs only)
• Strong skills with scrubbing, balloon angioplasty, PCI, stent and thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterizations
• Must be able to obtain vitals and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Epic EMR experience required
• Professional references are required for consideration
• Travelers within 50 miles accepted at local rate
