Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a LA or compact RN license and required AHA certifications for a night shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU department in a hospital setting
• Average daily census is 25 patients, with 30 available rooms
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, three times per week
• Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience is required
• May be assigned to an emergency team during facility emergencies
• Floating may be required
• Emergency team assignment during facility emergencies may require extended on-site presence
• Navy scrubs are required
• Holiday coverage may be required per unit needs
• Time off requests must be discussed during the interview process

Requirements

• Current LA or compact RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI, all through AHA
• Minimum of 1 year ICU RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must live at least 65 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers accepted
