Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level 1 Trauma and Academic Center requiring both IR and critical care background.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a hospital setting
• Level 1 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI Center with academic focus
• Perform advanced IR procedures such as Shockwave, Angiovac, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, Y90 treatments, various shunts, Spaceoar, biopsies, stenting, vasospasm management, drain placements, and embolizations
• Average case volume is 20 cases per day with 6 IR rooms
• Day shift with four 10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30)
• Assigned on-call duties averaging 8-10 days per month, including weekends
• Use of EPIC EMR is required
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Free onsite parking is available to staff
• Block scheduling is not available
• All requested time off must be submitted with the application; subsequent requests are at manager discretion
• Local candidates within a 70-mile radius are not eligible

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license, or eligibility for a pending license
• Minimum of 1 year of IR experience plus 1 year of experience in ED or ICU
• Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS
• Two professional supervisor references from the past 2 years required
