Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with an active OR license and Epic EMR experience for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Medical Surgical unit caring for acutely ill adult patients and those requiring emergent or elective surgery
Rotating day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm with weekend rotation
Patient population includes both general med/surg and telemetry cases with stable cardiac monitoring
Epic EMR system is used and recent experience is required
Responsible for managing the care of medical, surgical, and telemetry patients
Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported
Dress code and scrub color requirements not specified
No excessive RTO will be approved

Requirements

Active and unencumbered Oregon RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) and AHA ACLS certifications required
Recent telemetry monitoring experience required
Recent and relevant Epic EMR experience is required
Orthopedic and bariatric experience preferred
