Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with an active OR license and Epic EMR experience for a day shift position.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Medical Surgical unit caring for acutely ill adult patients and those requiring emergent or elective surgery
- Rotating day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm with weekend rotation
- Patient population includes both general med/surg and telemetry cases with stable cardiac monitoring
- Epic EMR system is used and recent experience is required
- Responsible for managing the care of medical, surgical, and telemetry patients
- Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported
- Dress code and scrub color requirements not specified
- No excessive RTO will be approved
Requirements
- Active and unencumbered Oregon RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) and AHA ACLS certifications required
- Recent telemetry monitoring experience required
- Recent and relevant Epic EMR experience is required
- Orthopedic and bariatric experience preferred
