Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Oregon requiring an active OR RN license, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work on a Medical Surgical unit specializing in the care of acutely ill adult patients and those needing emergent or elective surgery
Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15 with rotating weekends
Adult patient population with varying medical and surgical needs
13-week travel contract
Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported
Team delivers high standards of professional care alongside nurse assistants
Facility enforces strict adherence to required licensing, experience, and certifications for consideration
Rotating weekend coverage is required

Requirements

Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of consideration
A minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience is required
Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required
