Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for night shifts in Oregon, requiring an active OR license and current BLS and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
Care for acutely ill adults and adult surgical patients, including emergent and elective surgeries
Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15 with rotating weekends
13-week contract assignment
Provide high standard of nursing care to medical and surgical patients
Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged
Support available from registered nurses and nurse assistants within the unit

Requirements

Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Med/Surg RN
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
