Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for night shifts in Oregon, requiring an active OR license and current BLS and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
  • Care for acutely ill adults and adult surgical patients, including emergent and elective surgeries
  • Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15 with rotating weekends
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Provide high standard of nursing care to medical and surgical patients
  • Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged
  • Support available from registered nurses and nurse assistants within the unit

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Med/Surg RN
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
