Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for evening shifts with current ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/GYN and an active Oregon license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital diagnostic imaging department with a focus on ultrasound diagnostics
- Perform general abdominal, obstetric, and small parts ultrasound exams
- Evening shift from 3:30 PM to midnight with occasional weekend shifts
- Utilize state-of-the-art imaging technology including ultrasound, CT, MRI, and PET-CT
- Assignments are for 13 weeks
- Responsibilities include performing general, abdominal, obstetric, and small parts ultrasound exams using advanced diagnostic imaging equipment
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary imaging team utilizing multiple imaging modalities
- Adherence to facility standards and protocols is required
- Professionalism and strict compliance with job requirements is expected
Requirements
- Current and unencumbered Oregon Sonography license required if applicable
- ARDMS certification (or equivalent) in Abdomen and OB/GYN required upon consideration
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an ultrasound technologist
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
