Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Day Shift Med/Surg position requiring 1+ year of recent specialty experience and a valid TN or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit on floor 1
Patient population consists of adult medical-surgical patients
Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
13-week contract assignment
Responsibilities include providing care to a diverse adult Med/Surg population
RTO requests must be less than 1 week in duration
This position does not accept candidates with Canadian SIN in place of SSN

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
No lapses in work history equal to or greater than 90 days within the past 12 months
Driver’s license required
No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
Applicants who have been permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
No local travelers; must live outside a 50-mile radius
