Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Rehab RN with MS/Tele experience and a MO or compact RN license for a night shift position.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehab unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes post-surgical, post-stroke, CHF, and patients requiring prolonged physical, speech, or occupational therapy
• Patient ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30
• Charting is done using Epic
• Unit is team-based and collaborates with therapy and care management
• Unit is non-telemetry with occasional need for IVs and lab draws
• Patients require daily care activities and interdisciplinary discharge planning
• Very team-oriented work environment
• First-time travelers are accepted with 2 years of experience
• Locals accepted at a reduced rate within a 50-mile radius
• Free parking is available

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required; pending license accepted but must be active before start
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers must have at least 2 years of experience
• MS/Tele experience required
• Must pass basic EKG exam with 80% or higher (up to 2 attempts allowed)
