Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on night shift, requiring a MD or compact license and every other weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit setting
Night shifts are 3x12 hours (20:00-08:30), with option for 4x12 hours
Every other weekend rotation is required
Holidays are worked as scheduled
Travelers may float to specialty, sister units, and lower acuity units as needed
No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required
Provide nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
Floating occurs within specialty and to lower acuity units
Holiday coverage is required based on unit scheduling

Requirements

Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required
Open to first-time travelers
