Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in California requiring a CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and strong PACU skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• 8-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Care for patients recovering from anesthesia, including airway and pain management
• Role includes assignments in pre-operative and extended care areas
• May be required to float to other campus locations based on staffing needs
• Must demonstrate flexibility to float between multiple units and campuses as needed
• Care for patients through all phases of post-anesthesia recovery
• Team-oriented work environment with a focus on high-acuity care

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience required
• Experience with airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management required
• CCRN or CPAN certification preferred
• Critical care experience of at least 2 years preferred
