Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with strong Med/Surg, Tele, and PCU skills and an active NH or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting covering Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Must be comfortable working in all three specialties: MS, Tele, and PCU
• Rural or small facility environment experience is highly preferred
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off allowed
• All time off or scheduling requests must be submitted prior to consideration
• Daily responsibilities include caring for patients across Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU
• Candidates must submit their permanent address for consideration

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 3 years PCU, Med/Surg, and Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Must have tele experience and pass a basic dysrhythmia test
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Experience working in rural or small facilities is highly preferred
• Must have a personal vehicle for transportation
