Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) (MRI) certification for an evening shift position with adult patients.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting with adult ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Personnel-to-patient ratio is 1:1
• Shifts are 8-hour evenings, Monday through Friday, with varying start times between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM
• Every fourth weekend rotation and holiday rotation are required
• On-call rotation required
• Experience with cardiac and functional MRIs preferred
• Uses EPIC EMR, prior EPIC experience required
• Mandatory overtime may be required as part of the rotation pool to ensure unit coverage
• All time off requests must be declared during application
• Medical and religious declinations for COVID and flu vaccines are accepted
• Locals within 75 miles are eligible to apply at a lower pay rate
• Orientation is held every other Friday

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience required
• ARRT (R) (MRI) advanced certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Active CT state license required if applicable (must be obtained prior to start if not held at submission)
• EPIC experience required
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
