Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a KY or compact license and strong clinical credentials.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg unit at a critical access hospital
• 25-bed facility serving a diverse adult patient population
• Patient ratio is typically 1:5
• Uses Meditech EMR; familiarity preferred
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Bi-weekly orientation available
• Schedule is a rotating 36/48 hours per week
• Travel pairs are not permitted except under extenuating unit circumstances
• Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment
• Must provide recent job references and a driver's license for consideration
• Assignment confirmation must be completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
