Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a fast-paced vascular and cardiac IR department requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (R) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital in an interventional radiology department supporting vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists
• Handle a variety of vascular and cardiac interventional cases using Philips (including one biplane) and GE hybrid rooms
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Patients include both vascular and cardiac cases in a 325-bed hospital
• EMR system used is Epic; experience with Epic is required
• Floating may be required between all facilities within the state
• Work as part of an experienced, well-rounded IR team
• Must be open to the possibility of transitioning to permanent employment if the opportunity arises
• All requested time off must be included at the time of application; changes post-submission may not be accommodated
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Reliable transportation is required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Completion of all onboarding requirements, including labs and background checks, within 72 hours of offer acceptance is mandatory
• Hospital may require completion of non-billable online learning modules prior to start
• Scrub color requirements are not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of interventional radiology technologist experience required
• BLS and ARRT (R) required
• Washington state license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
• IR/CV certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must provide two supervisory references from within the last three years covering one year of employment
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel contract
