Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III Neonatal ICU position in Massachusetts requiring a MA RN license and NRP certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a 40-bed, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Night shift, 12 hours, 7p-7a, with every other weekend required
- 36 hours per week contract schedule
- Holiday coverage required for one major and one minor holiday
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays except for holidays
- No local travelers accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year if previously employed as travel, permanent, or per diem staff
- Paid parking available in parking garages and access to public transportation
- Pass/fail competency testing in Tele/ECG and medication required at some campuses
- All time-off requests must be presented at the time of initial consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active MA RN license in hand required
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level III or IV NICU required
- Seasonal flu vaccination required prior to start (medical exemptions accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed)
