Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with 1.5 years of ER experience and a DC RN license for a night shift position at a Level I trauma teaching hospital.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a Level I trauma, academic teaching hospital
- Patient ratios are typically 1:4-5
- Night shift position, four 12-hour shifts per week (19:30–08:00)
- Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required
- No floating required between like units
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Cerner Sorian 1st generation for charting
- Royal blue scrubs are required
- Must be able to provide two supervisor references for consideration
- Staff who have previously worked at this facility must have a one-year break before returning
- Holiday coverage is based on rotation and schedule
- Parking is available at a cost, and public transportation options are nearby
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and TNCC required
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
