Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in New Mexico, requiring at least one year of recent ED experience and an active NM or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care setting
• Day shifts from 06:30 to 18:00
• 13-week travel contract
• Patient population consists of emergency and acute cases
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Travelers who have worked as perm staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
• Requested time off (RTO) must be less than one week
• A valid driver’s license is required for consideration
• US Social Security Number required (no Canadian SIN accepted)
• Returning travelers must meet all eligibility criteria

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• All required certifications must be active with no expiration within the first 30 days of the assignment
