Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift MICU position, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Care for critically ill adult patients
  • EMR system used is Meditech
  • All ICU RNs must take an on-site test in addition to an online pre-test
  • Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules
  • No mileage radius restrictions; local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • Uses Centricity for timekeeping
  • Cardiac exam link provided after offer acceptance for timely completion

Requirements

  • Active AL or compact RN license with no disciplinary action or license hits
  • At least 2 years of RN experience with 1 year of recent ICU experience
  • Current, unencumbered nursing license must be in hand prior to consideration
  • Successful completion of an on-site ICU test and an online pre-test is required
