Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift MICU position, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) within a hospital setting
Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Care for critically ill adult patients
EMR system used is Meditech
All ICU RNs must take an on-site test in addition to an online pre-test
Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules
No mileage radius restrictions; local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Uses Centricity for timekeeping
Cardiac exam link provided after offer acceptance for timely completion

Requirements

Active AL or compact RN license with no disciplinary action or license hits
At least 2 years of RN experience with 1 year of recent ICU experience
Current, unencumbered nursing license must be in hand prior to consideration
Successful completion of an on-site ICU test and an online pre-test is required
