Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a day-shift contract requiring ARRT, BLS, and state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit performing a variety of IR and angiography special procedures
• Procedures include stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, drainages, abdominal and pelvis, upper/lower extremities, genitourinary, vascular and venous access, and LP myelogram
• Daily caseload averages 25 patients
• Utilizes PACS for imaging and Siemens equipment is preferred
• Day shifts are 4x10 hours, beginning at either 7:00 AM or 7:30 AM with rotating day off
• Block scheduling possible at manager's discretion
• Floating within scope is not required
• Local candidates are accepted
• Responsible for assisting with and performing a full range of interventional radiology procedures
• Structured orientation provided as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted
• RTO and block scheduling considered at manager’s discretion
• Professional attire as per department guidelines

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience
• Proficiency with PACS, contrast, and biopsy skills
• Demonstrated experience with a wide variety of IR/angio special procedures
• Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
