Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a newly opened facility, requiring at least 2 years of relevant experience and BLS and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit at a recently opened hospital
• Care for adult medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Night shift schedule with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Locals are eligible at the same pay rate
• Work in a state-of-the-art facility opened in January
• Provide comprehensive care for medical-surgical telemetry patients
• No restrictions against first-time travelers are noted

Requirements

• Active RN license for VA or compact state
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Copies of a valid driver's license and Social Security card are required
