Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, current ARRT-R and BLS certification, and Epic charting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adult cases requiring both radiologic and cardiologic interventions
• Schedule is Monday through Friday with staggered day shifts from 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm
• On-call required once per week (Monday or Thursday) and one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Uses the Epic electronic medical record system
• Teaching hospital or community hospital experience is preferred
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Returning employees must have been separated from the hospital system for a minimum of one year to be eligible
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Background checks must be clear with no open or active license or background hits
• All requested time off must be submitted with initial consideration
• Call and weekend coverage is required as part of the assignment

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact license required if applicable
• Current ARRT-R and BLS required; ARRT-VI preferred
• Minimum of 2 years recent interventional radiology experience required
• Epic charting experience required
