Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR and Neurovascular experience for a day-shift acute care assignment.
Responsibilities
- Short term acute care hospital setting
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department with a daily caseload of 10-15 cases per technologist
- Responsibilities include vascular IR, endografts, neurovascular, trauma, body IR, and assisting in stroke thrombectomy procedures
- GE and Siemens Fluoroscopy rooms utilized
- Cerner EMR system is used in this facility
- Day shifts are 5x8 hour days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM while on call
- Call required every 3rd or 4th weekend and 1 day per week, plus a full week during the 4th week
- Holiday coverage is required as needed
- No floating required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- The position supports a collaborative team with highly specialized IR procedures
- Candidates must be able to provide two professional references from supervisors within the past two years
- Application should include a full seven-year work history with any gaps explained
- All time off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at time of application
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology and Neurovascular IR experience required
- Must be able to scrub cases and be familiar with wires
- Experience with GE and Siemens Fluoro rooms required
- Ability to perform vascular IR, endografts, neurovascular, trauma, and body IR cases
- Stroke thrombectomy experience required
- Current IR Tech credentials required; license required if applicable
- Pending state license accepted but must be active by start date
- Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility
