Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a post-acute and long-term care rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a post-acute and long-term care rehabilitation facility
• Full-time schedule
• Patient population primarily consists of residents requiring rehabilitation for enhanced independence and function
• Modern therapy gym and equipment available
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment
• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve function, activities of daily living, and safety
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

Requirements

• Current, active California Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience
• Strong interpersonal and clinical skills
• Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred, not required
