Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Sonographer with 1–2 years of OB/MFM experience for a high-risk antenatal testing assignment, requiring nuchal translucency scanning skills.

Responsibilities

• Position based in an antenatal testing center specializing in high-risk pregnancy assessments
• Patient population includes high-risk pregnancies, twins, triplets, fetal anomalies, Level II screenings, and procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS
• Outpatient and inpatient caseload averaging 10–12 patients per day
• Team of 5–6 sonographers on staff
• Use of GE Viewpoint EMR system
• No weekends, holidays, or float required
• Day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Duties include performing first trimester screenings, Level II ultrasounds, and supporting procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS
• Three-day orientation provided
• Scrubs should be black
• No on-call, weekend, or holiday shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of OB/MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) sonography experience
• Proficiency in scanning nuchal translucency is required
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• ARDMS certification in Obstetrics required
• NT certification preferred but not required
• License required if applicable
